Ayman Nahle’s short film turns us into witnesses of a phone call between Assad’s Secretary and White House staff as we watch Syrian refugees waiting at Izmir Garage in Turkey where every day, thousands of migrants are getting ready for the journey to the unknown.

    Born in Beirut in 1984, lives in Beirut.

    Ayman Nahle initially studied theatre acting and directing in Beirut. Since 2007, he has been working in video as DOP, editor and director. His work as DOP includes Pelin Tan and Anton Vidokle’s The Fall of Artists’ Republic set in Oscar Niemeyer’s Tripoli fairground and The Communist Revolution Caused by the Sun. Now: End of Season is his first short film as director.
